Go KL is a public transportation in Kuala Lumpur, it's quite convenient to use   and good news is they take no fee~

Well, the way I talked like they've sponsored my trip or something lol Nah, I just too excited with public transportation in other country. Why? because, from public-trans we can tell a lot about the country. The cleanliness, the security, the discipline of its citizens or the way the local behave to each other.

Reliable, affordable, accessible. That three words decribes GOKL the most. It's a pink Bus by the way, they have four lines: Purple line, Green line, Blue line, and Red line. Each line had a different route, just hop into the bus and enjoy the ride!

I went to KL for three days last week, there's not much to tell about, you can see all pictures that I took with my smartphone here...

I bought this book on June 2012. I ordered at the bookstore that I used to buy book (Because I had a member card there, so it gave me alot benefit). I've been waiting for a month, because this book was shipping from US and it costs me USD 33 (I know right, it made my purse screaming and bleeding). I counted the days because I've been wanting this book so bad... And when the woman from bookstore called me to inform that my book has arrived, I remember I asked my bf to went on a date with me so I can took the book from the bookstore hahaha. I was like a kid who get a bucket of candy on halloween if I have a new book on my hand.

This book is reaaally stunning, I barely forgot that I lost my allowance for a week just to afford this book. The only reason is because.... man, it's Tokyo! The city that I've been dreaming for my whole life has been drawn in an aesthetically way with Florent Chavouet. He lived in Japan for six months during his girlfriend's work internship in Tokyo. Instead of doing nothing on their tiny apartment, he took the chance and rode the bike that he stole from the neighborhood to observed, captured, and drawn this busy city into several sections such as neighborhood, the ambience, the inhibitants and their eccentric-fashion, the food, the maps, the train, and some other petty things in hilarious way of adorable sketch, anecdotes and sarcastic comments. It's funny but quite informative for a guidebook.

Check this out.

  • The Maps
His illustration catch perfect detail of alley and building that you'll never see on general map.

  • The Neighborhood

  • The Inhabitants

  • The Interlude

Isn't it overwhelming? There are still a looot of pages but I am not gonna put every pages here, you should buy it for yourself. Believe me it's worth it especially if you love Japan and every detail about it.

Despite all my books on the shelves from the best author like Stephen King, Murakami, JD Salinger, despite all my outerspace-encyclopedias (which is a lot), this book still my favorite one after all this time.

I gave this book five starsssss!

All pictures taken by me with a smartphone.

Yellow stands for Happiness, freshness, energy, positivity, and joy.

Fun fact about me:

When I was a kid, I used to adore yellow because of Tweety. I was collecting numerous of Tweety stuffs like doll, keychain, clothes, totebag, everything about tweety. Haha. But right after I entered seventh grade, I became more feminine about myself. I changed my favorite color into Pink swiftly, and all of a sudden I forgot about tweety :(

Lately I dont know what's got into me or who put this idea to me, i'd never have thought this old desire would back. Been inlove with yellowwww! And to cope with this unbearable desire, I frequently wearing yellow clothes and shoes and also nail polish. Hahaha omg i look like a minion in yellow.

Ps: I dont know how long this would last, maybe untill pink wins my heart back :p

A year has passed...

Here, I am gonna announce the list of all the good things that has happened in my life during 2017.

Notes:

* I've watched bunch of good movies but can't remember properly so yeah i just put some of them.
* Ironically, I used to be a Book-Person but as you can see now I've only read four books for a year... Internet ruined my life to its fullest.
* Acquired my dream job as Content Creator in a most popular teenage-magazine, and as Supervisor in Fashion Retail Industry, But yet I didn't take both of them considering a few things (After people's persuasion-sales-pitch, It seems unfazed. When it comes to a job I should decide on my own right, this is nobody's meddling business. And I tried to stop being too hasty).

Good and Bad things happened, but I dont want to waste my time to start bitching about negative things here.. Remembering the bad would aggravate things and I merely do not want to drag around a same burden for the next year ahead. Nevertheless, this year has been full of joy and delightful moment and I cherish every detail about it.

November 2017

Bali will always be the sweetest escape. Here, I am gonna divided my stories into two sections, Tourist spots and Culinary.

      1. Tourist Spots

  • Uluwatu - Kecak Dance Performance
My very first time and it was worth the wait. The admission fee to enter the venue was only IDR 20,000 and then you have to pay more for only IDR 100,000 to watch kecak dance. The show started around six pm while the sun ready to set on the west. Believe me, it was such an intriguing experience.

  • Sundays Beach Club
Private Island? Hidden Paradise? That's what people called it. The admission fee was IDR 300,000 includes IDR 150,000 food and beverage credit.

Pro's:
- Clean Beach (Since not everyone can enter)
- They providing water Sports equipment (Kayaks, Snorkeling, Paddle Boards)
- They usually setting up the bonfire at night but unluckily it was raining at 5 when I was there :(
- Good place for sunbathing and also for honeymoon hmm

Con's:
- Pricey food, honestly IDR 150,000 will only get you one medium pizza and that's it. Lol.

Conclusion is, everything was okay. Pricey food was the only thing that bugs me.

  • Ubud Market
I wasn't planning to shop in Bali, so I didn't really enjoy here. They just selling some stuffs with high price. This isn't a place where you can being splurge as much as you want, I suggest.

  • Jimbaran Market
We went to this market and sought for fish, prawns, squid for dinner at Jimbaran Bay. I can't give any guidance about the price range since I rarely go to traditional market.

      2. Culinary

  • Seminyak Street - Motel Mexicola
It is a unique colorful cafe that served mexican food and alcohol with mexicali vibes.

Food              ★★★☆☆
Ambience      ★★★★★
Service          ★★★★☆

  • Seminyak Street - Mad Pops
One thing led to another, no one can resist dessert after having a meal. We were just greedily agreed to stopped by here and bought some scoop of ice cream.

Food              ★★★★★
Ambience      ★★★★☆
Service          ★★★★★

  • Nook
We came here because my friend were suggesting this place and we didn't regret it. We have lunch with greeeeennn rice field view and it was genuinely nice.

Food              ★★★★☆
Ambience      ★★★★★
Service          ★★★★★
